Two truths and a lie, I dare you

This is a challenge to temenos circle blog readers. If you are someone who knows me you have some advantage. If you don’t know me and are new my blog you are able to take part in this dare from reading my blog posts. The challenge is to figure out which of the three things i am going to share about myself are two truths and a lie.

If you wish to play along simply leave your comment on this blog post.

truthlie

  1. I am a laid back person letting life roll off my back. I enjoy lazy day’s relaxing chilling around the house. These days are all about me. I pretty much shut out the world and focus on getting my spirit fed. I am not concerned about others and my world centers around getting my own needs met. Getting my own needs met is always about how I selfishly get what I want. I have learned that my world is about me.
  2. I am not interested in what people think of me and couldn’t care less about how I am judged. I am my own person with intense opinions about my position on most topics. I like a good challenge. Once I put my mind to something stopping before it is completed is not an option. I have no trouble saying no to participating in something I do not believe.
  3. I am a servant thinking of other and care endlessly what people think and how they feel. I am always aware of how I come across to those around me especially those I care the most about. I would rather lose than win an argument, if winning is hurtful to my opponent. I value relationships more than I care about myself. My selflessness gets me in trouble as well all know no good dead goes unpunished.

Let me know what you think are two truths and a lie about me. You might be surprised, simply comment on this post. You might guess 1 truth, 2 truth and 3 lie.

I am second. I will share my experiences, as a child of God, husband to Daniel, father, best friend, brother, son, leader, professor, writer and photographer. My intention for this blog is to be random, with no plan, no list, no direction and no expectations. Very different from how I lived my past life. My journey has been blessed by the mercy and grace of God and unwavering love. I hope you enjoy reading and sharing my experiences of hurts, laughter, discovery, friendships, Christ, and my family. Temenos is a safe circle where you can be yourself with peace of mind. Temenos originates from a Greek word which refers to a universal instinct to create a protected, safe space in which to heal, restore and regenerate yourself. My temenos circle is a place to be still and seek Jesus. It becomes my place to pray, reflect in the word of our Lord to shrink, grow in him, and heal my soul. What is your temenos circle?
