Ciao Mama!

One of our family favorite cookies, that is a pillar for any celebration, wedding, birthday,  Christmas or Easter is the Biscotti (bee/SKHOT/tee). The long and short of it!

My life is interesting and my experience rich.  Along side my journey, I have always tried to stretch, take risks and be the change. This is both a skill and talent I work hard to develop. This philosophy has lead to some pretty outrageous experiences that folks in my life call:  “True to John form.”Continue reading “The long and short of it!”

2014 Declaration

In a “moment,” I find myself alone on an empty hospital unit, Christmas Eve 2013. My body system insurgence, is uncontrollable and captures my life. Doctors, needles, tests, predictions, theories fill the day and night with no definitive understanding. While everyone was well-meaning, nothing was going to quickly or easily to give me my lifeContinue reading “2014 Declaration”
